I understand if this album doesn't appeal to everyone considering it's an album inspired by so many different genres, but I hope that doesn't prevent people from listening. Everyone's heard of Gym Class Heroes, but I promise that The Quilt is a different kind of hip-hop. It goes where no other band has gone before. Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo's guitar playing is all pop-punk and Travie is unlike any lead singer. Travie's been through... a really rough year, but The Quilt doesn't need to be listened to out of sympathy. I promise the vocals on Live A Little will blow you away and make you do a double take (and it's catchy!!!). But what's my favorite song to blast in the car? Peace Sign/Index Down. And the song that's been stuck in my head the most is... COOKIE JAR. :D. I think it would be impossible to list every genre I hear in this album, but all I can say is, 'The Quilt' is the perfect title for the the album . Gym Class Heroes has taken so many inspirations, and sewn them together to make something beautiful.myspace.com/gymclassheroes
